LEAVES ARE CHANGING
so my husband, family and friends visited the Blueridge Mountain in North Carolina over the weekend to experience the beginning of fall.
I wanted to keep my look to the mountain classic and enjoyable for the overlooks, in a way that will not distract my larger experience. Here, I am sharing my tips for a classic fall look, whether to the mountains or anywhere for a perfect fall experience! This is just one of my many interpretations of a classic fall outfit. So please, let me know yours below too!
I slipped on this TJ Max poncho/cape that scored for $20.00, and fell in love with the fur collar. It's the fur collar that starts the classic look and the cherry on top.
Shades. I couldn't go wrong by adding some shades to guide my view of the dipped silhouette of the mountain.
Paired with suede Michael Kors booties and generic satchel at TJMax, this outfit brought me closer to the usual color attributed with fall: shades of brown.
Three more tips to create an irresistible classic fall fashion outfit right from the closet:
- Pair black or burgundy leggings with any skirt or dress when in doubt.
- Throw on a plaid scarf. Can't ever go wrong here!
- If not the clothes, make your lips appear sophisticated in Nar's Plush Rush Satin Matte Lipstick:my favorite is shade Brave!
Although we stopped at two overlooks, the last overlook was worth the surprise. Known as the Cascade Trail, the walk averaged 30 minute round rip with a surprise waterfall deeper in the woods. We dared to walk the pass the restricted fence and risked to get a closer view of the stunning cold water fall. We made it safe back up to home base and sore. The weather was perfectly cool, with the classic poncho thrown on, it kept me warmer underneath the shades.
I JUST STARTED YOUTUBE!
(Frankly, I've always had a channel but posted sporadically.)
This video captures our mountain trip: my husband said we looked to be having fun 99.9%, but reality 80% tired and 20% fun. Ahahahha.
