My family requested me to add a little mix into my blogging style. They suggested that I should offer younger looks sometimes in order to capture a wider audience. I was just a bit scared, about the size of a M&M and beyond the fear I knew I could be different.
To dress, eat, and speak differently from what we normally perform can sometimes scare us. Simply because we feel the most of who we are when we are relaxed versus when we are tensed. Surprisingly, I felt relaxed wearing this outfit that is a bit more casual than my usual style. A part of it could be because I wore jean shorts, had my hair tied up and swung on a swing like a child. The first step to wear something usually different from your clothing norm is…to start with the piece that is the easiest for you to replace…for me, that would be going from a skirt/dress into shorts. And this is my first time everrrrrrr sharing a jean short look on my blog!! #craycrayhuh? From there, start to slowly add other pieces that are different but still you. For example, I tend to always a blazer around my shoulders and never wrapped around my waist as shown here. I hope this post gives you little encouragement to stretch your wardrobe choices!
